Lexington Montessori School is an independent, coeducational, Montessori day school founded in 1963 by a group of parents seeking a child-centered education for young children. LMS welcomes children from a wide range of towns and communities in and around the Boston area.

The campus is comprised of five separate buildings: the Children’s House, the Jane Mack Elementary Building, No. 10 and No. 12 Lawrence Lane and the greenhouse serving 201 students in grades PK, K-8 with a student-teacher ratio of 5 to 1.
