Belmont KidSpace Open House

For children ages 5 and under, the Belmont KidSpace Open House is always a blast. This indoor play space is only open during the colder months and features multiple play areas for kids to enjoy. Stop in the November 5th to check it out for yourself.

LEGO Star Wars Days

The weekend of November 11th to the 13th is a great time to go to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston because it is LEGO Star Wars Days. All weekend there will be special Star Wars themed events, costumed characters, and giveaways!  

The Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church Holiday Faire

The Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church will hold its annual Holiday Faire on November 12th. There will be a wide array of holiday decorations, crafts, gift ideas, baked goods, and Crawford’s famous apple pie. Proceeds will benefit various church projects.

The Choice – A Concert for Kids

On November 13th, “The Choice,” a concert for kids, is playing at the Winchester Community Music School. This is a “talent show” where you, the studio audience, and judges like John Lennon, Taylor Swift, and Johann Sebastian Bach decide the winner. The show is appropriate for all kids ages 5 and up and tickets cost $5.  

Knit-Wits Craft Sale

Stop by the Woburn Senior Center on November 15th for the Knit-Wits Craft Sale. Browse handmade knitted and crocheted hats, scarves, afghans, and much more. All proceeds benefit the “Friends Helping Seniors” group.  

Festival of Trees

The first annual Festival of Trees is presented by the Aleppo Shriners and takes place at the Shriners Auditorium on the weekend of November 18th to the 20th. Admission is only $0.50 and grants you access to a winter wonderland of themed trees being raffled off, festive music, and photos with Santa. This is sure to be one event you won’t want to miss. 

The Wizard School Scavenger Hunt

The Wizard School Scavenger Hunt takes place on November 19th at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. This event offers kids the opportunity to discover the museum using the magic of the Harry Potter books.  

Puppet Playtime: Teddy Bear Picnic

Creative Arts is proud to present Puppet Playtime: Teddy Bear Picnic as part of their 2016-2017 Theater for Young Audiences Series. Kids can use their imagination to go on a musical adventure with three friendly bears. The show is on November 19th at 10:30 am at the Reading Congregational Church.  

Stone Zoo 

November 25th is Half Price Day at the Stone Zoo. Instead of battling the Black Friday crowds and waiting in lines, spend the day enjoying the outdoors and learning about animals with the whole family.  

Arlington Book Festival

The Arlington Book Festival takes place this year on Saturday, November 5th. This free event is open to all and takes place at the Robbins Library in Arlington. Drop in on the author’s panels or stick around for the book sales and coffee (for the adults).
