Bright Nights at Forest Park-Springfield

Guests enjoy miles of unique and colorful displays featuring musical simulcast on WELF 101.5 FM. Drive through the location, take a bus or indulge in a historic horse-drawn carriage ride to the sights. Exhibits include characters made famous by Dr. Seuss who was once a Springfield native. Bright Nights is considered one of the best holiday lights experiences in the country. Additional attractions include patriotic demonstrations, Toyland and Jurassic Park. The park welcomes visitors seven nights each week through January 1st.

Festival of Lights-South Carver

The Edaville theme park goes all out for the holiday season with more than 17 million lights illuminating the more than 90 amusement park rides and special attractions. See the displays while riding in a classic train or from atop of the Ferris wheel. Indulge in a holiday treat and enjoy the vintage rides. Santa is also on hand to visit with little ones.

Tower Hill Botanical Gardens-Boylston

The gardens are some of the oldest in the state and impressive to see year round. However, when the holiday season arrives, the location transforms into Winter Reimagined. Shrubs, trees, pathways, fountains and sculptures glow under the night sky with shimmering lights. Inside two conservatories, guests also have the chance to see exquisite hand-crafted ornaments, an igloo and a wishing tree forest along with tropical plants as holiday music plays. The park welcomes guests Tuesday through Sunday evenings. The displays continue through January 7.

Zoolights-Stoneham

The Stone Zoo buildings, landscape and animal exhibits all light up the night sky in celebration of the holidays. Stop by Bubba and Smoky to see the black bear decorations. Stroll along the spectacularly lit Yukon Creek to witness the arctic foxes, bald eagles and Canadian lynx. Get your picture taken with one of Santa’s reindeer and visit St. Nick in his castle. Enjoy a ride on the iconic carousel under the stars. Enjoy the other amusement attractions.
